Sand Dollar Digital Design
Web Databases and Programming

Sand Dollar Digital Design has developed a number of programs that can be used in your web site to keep your employees or clients better informed. Some of the advantages of such programs include:

  • Immediate implementation of your changes.
  • Automation of log on authenticators, passwords and applications for memberships
  • Web based photo gallery re-sizes submitted photos for more efficient storage of images.
  • Searchable databases, allow clients to access your information quicker and more efficiently.
  • Information management.

Bear in mind, all these features are implemented immediately. There is no waiting for some Internet developer to create pages or change information. You can control the information by way of secure forms that are simple to use. Feel free to explore some of the following programs. You may access the administrative portions of these programs by clicking on Administer This Page at the bottom of any page. Normally, administration would be password protected, but that has been removed from these pages so you can see how they work.

  1. T. R. I. P - On-Line Reservation Scheduler - This system will analyze your existing reservations and allow your guests and customers to add visits to your schedule as time allows. It can be used for over-night guests, or hourly clients for boat trips or tours, adjusting to your availability. If needed, it will calculate prices of services including tax, deposits, special additions and packages and more. On your secure back side, you will have a graphic layout of your calendar/schedule to see the time line in real-time (up to the second). In a market where on-line reservations can cost thousands, even tens of thousands, T. R. I. P. offers a low frills option for smaller properties that have a tighter budget. Rates for our trip system include a set up fee of only a few hundred dollars and no additional recurring fees that are typically added by month or by reservation. 2. Cartamonga - Online Shopping cart and products catalog to collect live orders on-line from the WORLD. (Click here to see this program in action at the Wintons Candies, Two Dumb Dames, Stephanies Stuff or Rugging with Julie.)
  3. Custom Photo Gallery - This popular package will manage images and information for you with out having to learn about ftp or HTML. You can manage your gallery with web based forms that are easy to use and understand. It is a favorite for retirees that travel, yet wish to keep in contact with friends and family with photos and travel journals. Use it for updates and news to share with past and potential clients. This program can be added to a larger site or it can be a dedicated Photo Gallery. To make it more attractive, ask to have special graphics developed for your site. (Click here to see this program in action at the Bailey Gallery, Lerel or Sail Phantasea (Formerly rather be Sailing).)
  4. On-line Menu for restaurants. This application offers a browsable on-line menu for restaurants, but can be adapted for any type of business: directory, list of manuals available on-line and more. The list is easily manageable by you or your staff. (Click here to see this program in action now) The delete, add and login features have been disabled for this demo.
